For more than a decade Nancy Jeffrey has worked on several projects for the Litterman family. During that time period Mary Litterman and she have forged a signature style that blends the elements of tradition with a cleaner contemporary line. In 2002 the women took it a step further forming Acanthus Design with the idea of building high-end amenity rich properties. Having the best to offer in skiing and golf made Steamboat Springs a natural choice. The experience of building the Litterman’s ski home gave them a talented team to work with for their own venture. This included architect Bill Rangitsch and contractor Richard Wilson. Currently Acanthus Design is due to break ground on their next project in the spring of 2006.
